Myers Law is Hiring!

Due to recent substantial growth and demand from consumers, Myers Law is currently interviewing for multiple positions.  Interviews will take place in the month of April with decisions on hiring taking place in mid-late April or early May 2016.  Applicants should submit the requested materials to Dan Myers via email at DMyers@MyersLawLLC.com.  The following positions are available:

  • Full-time Associate Attorney – A licensed Ohio attorney interested in representing consumers in a large number of individual and class action cases against unscrupulous construction contractors, auto dealerships, mechanics, and businesses.  Strong organization skills and ability to handle many different cases at the same time are a must.    Will be expected to regularly attend various business meetings and generate some clients.  Must have a valid Ohio attorney license with a clean disciplinary record and a strong desire to litigate on behalf of consumers.  Applicants should submit a resume, cover letter, references, and a brief or other advocacy-related writing sample.  Some general litigation, consumer law, or construction law experience preferred.  Salary variable based on experience.
  • Part-time / Full-time Law Clerk – Because our current clerk will soon be studying for the bar exam in July, we need a law student interested in learning about consumer law and litigation to assist with legal writing, research, client contact, and other law practice management-related work.  This position will be part-time during the school year and likely full-time during the summer months, depending on need and quality of work product.  Applicants should submit a resume as well as a memo or brief writing sample.  Some experience in either the construction industry, consumer law clerking, state or federal court externship, clinical programs, or general litigation clerking is preferred.  Top 20% rank in your law school class is preferred.  This position will pay $12 per hour.
  • Part-time Social Media Manager – In order to continue getting up to date information to consumers in Ohio, Myers Law would like someone with experience in the legal industry to assist with the online presence and communications of Myers Law.  Applicants should submit a resume, references, and recent legal topic-related blog post sample.  Compensation variable based on experience.

Please direct all inquiries and application materials to Dan Myers at DMyers@MyersLawLLC.com.
